Yr10 Rugby:

The team put in one of, if not their best performance of the season in the plate final against Bangor Academy today. In the end the result went the way of Bangor 17-7. Clounagh scored a try through Nikita Nikitins which Thompson Owen converted. The team displayed their best game management of the season accompanied with a number of impressive individual performances. Mr Graham is very proud of the team and a well done to all involved.

Yr10 Rugby:

Practices this Friday and Wednesday 3rd April allowing preparations for the big match. Full turn out essential. The U14 Plate Final will be played at Belfast Harlequins RFC on Thursday 4th April with a 12.30pm kick off against Bangor Academy. Travelling supporters are very welcome!

Rugby info:

Yr8 A and B matches Thursday 14th March at home against Friends. Players are to get changed at break time, come down to Rm 12 after the 2.15pm bell to leave their bags off and then proceed to the top rugby pitch. Kick off is 2.45pm and pick up 3.45pm app. Yr 10 semi final match at home to Carrick Academy is on Friday 15th March. Players are to get changed at 10.20am, kick off 11am and finished in time for lunch.

No cup match tomorrow therefore get down to the rugby club tonight for training.

The joint session for all rugby players with Portadown RFC will take place tomorrow evening (Monday 11th March). The Yr8 session begins at 6.30pm and Yr9 +10 begins at 7. Both sessions will finish at 8pm. Transport will be provided from school for those who cannot arrange their own lift, leaving school at 6.15pm.

Selected players are to come to school with rugby kit already on and warm /waterproof clothes on top with lunch, extra clothes, rugby accessories and inhalers etc. Players are to go to main foyer after 10.20am bell. Tournament in Lurgan RFC begins 11.30am and players should be back for 3pm app. Pick up.
